Coaching Programmes

Three distinct tracks, each built around a specific type of challenge. Pick the one that matches where you actually are — not a generic path that fits nobody well.

Executive Interview Preparation

For directors, heads of department, VPs, and C-suite candidates

At senior level, the bar shifts. It is no longer about whether you can do the job. Panels are testing whether you can lead in their specific context — with their politics, their stakeholders, their pressures. Generic preparation does not work here.

We go through the kinds of questions you will face: board accountability, managing underperformance, strategic trade-offs, culture and inclusion. We look at how you frame your track record — what you claim credit for, what you acknowledge as a team effort, where you show judgment rather than just outcomes.

What's covered

  • Strategic narrative — connecting your career to their agenda
  • Stakeholder influence and boardroom presence
  • Handling adversarial or stress-testing questions
  • Compensation conversations at director level
  • Panel format preparation (multiple interviewers, formal assessment)
  • Post-interview debrief and offer stage strategy

Format

Typically 4–6 sessions of 60–90 minutes. Sessions are one-to-one, conducted via video or in person at our London office. All sessions are recorded for review.

Career Pivot Support

For professionals moving into a new industry or function

The CV gets you in the room. But a career change is visible — and interviewers will probe it. The question they are really asking is: why should we take the risk on you when we have candidates with direct experience?

We work on the answer to that question. Not a defensive one. A compelling one.

What's covered

  • Reframing transferable skills without sounding defensive
  • Industry-specific language and norms for your target sector
  • Addressing the "why the change?" question convincingly
  • Identifying and filling credibility gaps before interview
  • Mock interviews with realistic sector-specific scenarios
  • Handling the salary question when you're coming from a different pay scale
  • Building confidence for roles you've not done before

Format

Usually 3–5 sessions. Works best when you have a specific target role or company in mind, but we can also work more broadly on a sector transition.

English for Careers

For professionals whose first language is not English

Technical fluency and professional English are different things. You might be perfectly capable of doing the job — and still struggle to communicate your value in the specific register that UK corporate interviewers expect.

This programme is not English lessons. It is interview English — the vocabulary, the register, the rhythm of professional speech that signals competence to a British hiring panel.

What's covered

  • Professional vocabulary for your sector
  • Structuring answers clearly under time pressure
  • UK business idiom and register
  • Pronunciation work where it affects clarity
  • Managing nervousness in a second language

Format

Flexible. Can be combined with any of the other tracks, or taken standalone. We often start with a recorded diagnostic mock interview.

How a typical engagement works

It starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch.

1

Free 15-minute consultation

Tell us where you are and what you're going for. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help and which programme fits.

2

Diagnostic mock interview

We record a 30-minute mock under realistic conditions. Then we watch it back together. Most people find this illuminating.

3

Targeted session work

Each session addresses specific gaps. No fillers. No theory for its own sake.

4

Pre-interview briefing

The session before your interview focuses entirely on that company, that role, that panel format.

Coach working through interview technique with a client

Common questions

Three to four weeks is ideal. It gives enough time to work through at least three sessions, do a follow-up mock, and have a pre-interview briefing. If your interview is sooner, an intensive two-session sprint can still make a material difference.
Both. In-person sessions take place at our London office near Moorfields. Online sessions are via video call and work just as well for most clients. Many people mix formats depending on the week.
That is actually a common situation. We'll prioritise your most important target and use the others as practice material. Having real stakes in multiple processes tends to accelerate improvement.
Some clients have done this. We provide invoices that describe the service as professional communication coaching, which often falls within learning and development budgets. It's worth checking your company's policy.
The most common feedback we hear from people who've had previous coaching is that it was too generic — the same frameworks regardless of their level, sector, or specific problem. We start from your actual situation. The diagnostic mock is designed specifically to find the real issue, not apply a standard script.
No. Some clients come for a single session before a specific interview. Others work with us over several weeks or months. There is no package you have to buy upfront.
